After a visit to Clark Brothers Publicity in Manchester, I was intrigued by fluorescent ink and the ability of it to capture your attention. This project is a comment on the specific colours, shapes and sizes that are used to achieve our undivided attention within advertising. 

Western societies have developed into a new stage in the evolution of capitalism, it is characterised by corporations exercising power and sustaining demand by advertising through the media. Exploiting this control, companies manipulate the preferences of consumers through advertising in order to create new false needs, often for conspicuous consumption.
